Hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and alkaline solutions are extremely slow to leach nickel wire. Nickel wire dissolves slowly in dilute nitric acid. Strong nitric acid can make the surface of nickel wire passivation and corrosion resistance. Nickel wire is widely used in chemical, chlor-alkali and other industries that need acid and alkali resistant materials. The existing production process of pure nickel wire: At present, the domestic production of pure nickel wire mainly adopts vacuum induction melting → ingot picking → forging → grinding → rolling → drawing.

Grades

There are two grades of nickel wire in China: N4 and N6.

The purity of n4 nickel wire is 99.8% and above.

The purity of n6 nickel wire is 99.6% and above.
