Brief analysis of supply and demand in China's high-temperature alloy industry
2022.10.20
With the rapid development of China's aerospace, nuclear power and other fields in recent years, the market demand for high-temperature alloys has increased, driving the growth of China's high-temperature alloy production. Although China's high-temperature alloy industry is developing fast, but the overall technical level and the world's advanced level there is still a gap, high-end varieties have not yet achieved independent control, the supply and demand gap is large.
Data show that in 2021, China's high-temperature alloy production reached 38,000 tons, an increase of 15.2%; demand reached 62,000 tons, an increase of 17%.
From the market scale, with the rapid development of the industry in recent years, China's high-temperature alloy industry market size has also grown. According to information, in 2020, China's high-temperature alloy market size reached 18.7 billion yuan, up year-on-year. The market size is estimated to reach 21.9 billion yuan in 2021.
China's high-temperature alloy according to the preparation process demand, deformed high-temperature alloy is China's most important source of demand, demand accounted for 70%, casting high-temperature alloy demand accounted for 20%, powder high-temperature alloy demand accounted for 10%.
From the viewpoint of matrix elements, nickel-based high-temperature alloy demand accounted for the highest proportion of 80%; followed by iron-based high-temperature alloy, demand accounted for 14.3%; cobalt-based high-temperature alloy demand accounted for the smallest proportion, accounting for 5.7%.
From China's high-temperature alloy application structure, the aerospace field is the largest application area of high-temperature alloy, the application accounted for 55%; followed by the electric power and mechanical fields, accounting for 20% and 10% respectively.
